At Bodegas Hermanos Peciña, some words carry more meaning than others.
“Chobeo” is the nickname our family has been known by in San Vicente de la Sonsierra for generations — a close and authentic name that is deeply connected to our history, our roots, and our way of understanding wine.
Years ago, two wines were created in honour of that name and everything it represents to us. Today, the story continues with Chobeo de Peciña Cuatro, dedicated to Adriana, Clara, Martín, and Candela, the four grandchildren of Peciña.
They represent the new generation of the family and the future of the winery. Four different personalities, united by the same essence: a love for our land, respect for our roots, and the passion to continue the story of Peciña.
And the number 4 is not only part of its name. This wine has spent 4 months ageing in 400-litre oak barrels, a subtle tribute to the four grandchildren who inspired this project and to a new way of understanding our wines: fresher, more approachable, and easy to enjoy.
That is why we say that Chobeo Cuatro is the Chobeo of our generation. A fresh, easy-drinking wine full of personality, created to be shared, enjoyed, and remembered.
Because beyond the wine itself, what has always mattered most is everything we live and share around it.
